Who are you?
I started out with HM Revenue & Customs as a Revenue Officer, involved in a variety of taxes including PAYE, Self-Assessment & Employers. I completed NVQ’s (level 3) in Business Administration & Customer Service & was also a 1-1 trainer for newly promoted Revenue Officers. My career at HMRC benefited me greatly and gave me a sound background for my transition to the other side when I joined BAC Accountants in 2004. Alongside my day job I also ran my own part time Floristry business designing and creating displays for all occasions. I began my role at BAC as a Junior and this soon developed into becoming the Payroll & Taxation manager. Over the years I have also been involved with the bookkeeping and HR. I thoroughly enjoy engaging with clients and assisting them with their taxation & payroll needs.
Why Crouchers?
The recent merger with Crouchers has benefitted the company greatly and I am very proud to be a member of such a supportive and welcoming team. I really appreciate the constant help, support & ongoing training that Crouchers provides and this enables me & my colleagues to remain up to date with the constant changes in legislation, develop skills & further our knowledge to provide the best service possible.
What do you do outside of work?
I am married with two children and enjoy socialising and spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy going to the gym, playing badminton and walking the family cocker spaniel, Tommy. I have recently developed an interest in health and wellbeing and am currently working towards a qualification in Health & Nutrition in my spare time.
