Who are you?
I began bookkeeping as a teenager, managing my father’s records for his tailoring business. Following completion of my business diploma, my interest in all things financial and the satisfaction of keeping sound records led me to the accountancy practice. As a junior, unfortunately, I was not sufficiently experienced to enjoy much interaction with clients. As a friendly and outgoing person, I pursued more direct customer facing roles and I have spent the balance of my career to date working in a variety of roles managing client accounting, bookkeeping and administrative functions for several local companies. I recently took the decision to return to the practice environment and am keen to broaden my accounting software experience and hopefully secure some letters.
Why Crouchers?
Crouchers offer the best in forward thinking procedures to fulfil all client needs whilst using the most up to date software and practices. I was seeking a position that would allow me to gain formal certifications to back up my many years’ experience whilst allowing me to forge close direct relationships with clients. The Crouchers team are a very friendly and knowledgeable small family which I am very pleased to have joined. I look forward to providing our clients with a professional but friendly bookkeeping service second to none.
What do you do outside of work?
With my husband and son, I spend most weekends either travelling around the country supporting our son’s amateur oval racing hobby or staying at home with our beloved Cockapoo trying to make room for all the trophies that usually arrive on their return! Prior to Covid, I was involved with a local amateur dramatics group and have performed several productions and intend to make a return to the stage at some point in the future. Meanwhile, I have been developing my interest and skills in all manner of jewellery beading whilst listening to a myriad of audiobooks.
